The "Joy of Cooking" is a cookbook classic. It was first published in 1931, and has been through 7 revisions, each offering a look at the food fashions of a different era in U.S. life. All cooks are invited to join the Cookbook Club on Tuesday, July 10 at 7 p.m. when we celebrate this icon of the American palate. Each person attending should bring a dish created with a recipe from "Joy of Cooking" to share with the group. Teaming up with a friend to create similar dishes from two different editions of the book is welcomed. Chefs may use their personal copies of "Joy of Cooking" or borrow one from a selection at the library. Any questions?
