R.B. Chamberlin Welcomes New Assistant Principal Michael King
Michael King's hiring was approved by the school board Wednesday. He will fill the spot left by Ed Kosek.

There will be a new face greeting students at when classes resume this month.
Michael King was officially hired as the new assistant principal by the school board Wednesday.
King will fill the spot left by Edward Kosek, who moved to Houston, Texas.

"Iβm very happy to be a part of the system," King said.
King taught social studies at Nordonia High School for ten years, working with freshman and senior advising. He also helped out in an administive role and served on the district's board of education as well, according to Principal Belinda Scott.

"I'm impressed by his energy and enthusiasm," Scott said.
King said he is aware of the financial challenges in the district and the state and looks forward to serving the school.
βWeβre going to be doing a lot more with a lot less,β he said. βIβm sure Twinsburg is up for the challenge.β
More salary freezes
The school board also approved salary freezes for administrative support personnel for the 2012-13 school year.
As a part of the deal the group will increase its health care contributions from six to ten percent.
