The man LifeLighted to Metro Health Hospital Wednesday is doing better

The man who was burned in a flash fire on Wednesday has been upgraded to fair condition, according to several media outlets.
Just after 5 a.m. Wednesday a on Highland Road was badly burned when a machine caught fire while he was walking by it.
He was LifeLighted to Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, listed under critical condition late Wednesday afternoon.

Captain Jim Hartung said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
He said the flash fire was out before responders arrived. There was no damage to the building, just minor damage to the machine that caused it.
