• Westerville Announces City Office and Community Center Holiday Schedule (hoodline.com) — City offices and the Westerville Community Center will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, with both facilities closing early at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will continue on their normal Monday and Tuesday schedules, so residents don’t need to adjust. Check the city website for any additional holiday updates.
   

• Kyle Jones Fitch, Jr (marshallnewsmessenger.com) — Westerville readers are remembering 90-year-old Kyle Jones Fitch Jr., a man of faith who belonged to Genoa Baptist Church in the city and passed away in Sunbury on October 30. A Texas native, he served in the U.S. Army, worked for Equifax, and spent nearly three decades with Texas Parks and Wildlife. He will be honored in a private family ceremony.
