Ninety years on Earth is something to celebrate.
About sixty Westlake residents 90 years old or older gathered at the on Monday for a brunch party to celebrate. The party was organized by Community Services and the Westlake Women's Club.
Women's Club members served the food and drink, and cake after brunch.

, , Normandy Manor of Rocky River and provided supplies for the event.
Mary Alger, 90, came from for the party. Living there, she said, is a nice experience.

"I've had health problems," she said. "But I see people who have worse problems, and it keeps me from being sorry for myself. And it's nice to have people to talk with at meals."
Winston Ma, 94, was glad to see .
Ma, a retired nuclear scientist, moved to Westlake from Pittsburgh four years ago to be near his son, Mitch.
"He always said this was the nicest town," Ma said. "And he's right. It's the best. So clean! The mayor does a good job here."
Clough addressed the guests after the brunch, also handing out certificates of proclamation.
"We here in Westlake are blessed with so many of you," Clough said. "We appreciate the contributions you made to make our lives better here in our country and our community."
