1. Have an old computer that needs discarding? The Computer Round-Up. Start getting your old computers together this week for the Aug. 12 – 17 roundup. Collection is Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 17, from 7:30 a.m. – noon at the Westlake Service Center, 741 Bassett Road. For more information, call 440-835-6432.
2. Chair massages now available. Did you know the Westlake Recreation Center is Now partnering with Susan Jenkins to offer chair massages to its members and residents. The program started about six weeks ago. Cost is $15 for 15 minutes or $30 for 30 minutes (payable at the front desk). Click here for more information.

3. Blood and ice cream: The Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 at Mitchell’s Ice Cream, 26262 Detroit Rd. The drive is on the bus, but we see no reason not to reward yourself after with an ice cream cone.

 5. New language books at Porter Library. The library periodically brings in foreign language books from Cleveland Public Library that you can borrow. The library has just received a new batch of books in Arabic, Mandarin and Spanish kept on display just to the left of the Information Desk.
