
Is the Bradley Road-Detroit Road intersection a pain to navigate?
The city intends to make it a bit easier.
Director of Engineering Robert Kelly said at Thursday's City Council meeting that the intersection will be widened next year.

Design work is underway now, Kelly said. The plan is to widen Detroit Road to five lanes, as it is near Crocker Road, all the way to Bradley and then 1,000 feet west.
The widening will add thru lanes.

"This will make that intersection not only more efficient, but safer," Kelly said.
Construction will begin in early 2013.
