โThe Mange is a small urban garden and (growers) donate food raised there to a food bank,โ Anderson said. โSome fruits, vegetables and they are taken to the food bank. Also strawberries, squash and thereโs an herb garden. Itโs really pretty and interactive.โ
Food is donated to the Plant a Row project in conjunction with the Master Gardeners.ย

The project incorporates a green roof, rain water collection and organic compost. Home gardeners can also donate extra produce from their gardens.
