Dad Leaves Kids In Car While Shopping

A North Ridgeville man is facing child endangering charges after leaving his small children in the car while he went shopping in Westlake.
Someone saw the children -- a 1-year-old and 4-year-old -- alone in the car outside a Detroit Road cell phone store the afternoon of May 13. The witness called . An officer stood by until the dad returned, 25 minutes after leaving the children in the car.
In addition to the charges the dad faces, the incident was also reported to Lorain County Children's Services.
