When police stopped the man's car, they found a loaded handgun and suspected marijuana.
WESTLAKE, OH — Drivers on I-90 east saw a startling sight this month when a driver waved a handgun around in his car, according to police reports.
At 9:15 a.m. on Jan. 14, drivers on I-90 east called 911 and reported seeing a man inside a Toyota Camry waving a gun from inside his car. A neighboring police department received the call first and then asked Westlake officers to investigate.
Police tracked down and stopped the Camry as it was entering Rocky River. The driver, a 24-year-old man, was cooperative, according to a Westlake police spokesperson, but had a loaded handgun and suspected marijuana in his car.
