Drunk Man Tries to Bail out Woman for Drunk Driving, Promptly Arrested
Pair released to sober friend.

ย A 34-year-old North Olmsted man could have used better judgment May 11 when he went to bail out a friend who had been arrested for operating under the influence earlier that morning.
The man arrived at the police station just after 4 a.m.
Westlake police found him to be under the influence and he was arrested for drunk driving as well.

Police subsequently determined that he had been drinking with the woman before her arrest. He had also been using medicine prescribed to him. Both were later released to a sober friend.

A Pennsylvania man visiting this area had his 1999 Acura Integra stolen from a Westford Circle residence on the night of May 6. It was recovered in Cleveland the next day completely stripped. There are no suspects.
A wallet, paperwork, and spare change were taken from a Beechwood Drive manโs 2002 Oldsmobile minivan while it was parked in his driveway on the night of May 8. Forty dollars cash and a credit card were also taken from the unlocked vehicle. There are no suspects. Some of the papers were found in a neighborโs yard.
A 19-year-old Cleveland man was caught stealing merchandise worth $450 from a Crocker Park Boulevard store on the evening of May 9. He had been suspected of thefts by management since his hiring one month earlier. He was arrested for petty theft.
