Drunk Mother of 2 Strikes Curb in Work Zone While Kids are in Car

A 33-year-old Cleveland woman struck a curb in a Detroit Roadwork zone on June 15 at 11:10 p.m. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested for drunk driving and failure to control. Her 5-year-old and 13-year old children were with her at the time; they were released to a sober relative. Their presence in the car earned her an additional child endangering charge from the Westlake Police Department.

A 49-year-old Westlake man was found walking on the I-90 exit ramp to Crocker Road on June 19 at 1:56 a.m. He was shirtless, shoeless, and had one sock on. He was intoxicated and arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct. When he was placed in a cell, he urinated all over the cell walls and damaged a floor drain. Those actions earned him a criminal damage charge from Westlake Police.
