A towing company had to pull the van free before it could be impounded, officers said.
WESTLAKE, OH — A van got stuck on a boulder on Detroit Road last week, Westlake police announced.
At 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 27, callers reported seeing a vehicle stuck on a rock on Detroit, near Dover Center. The driver, a 30-year-old Avon woman, appeared intoxicated, police said.
The driver was slurring her words and was field tested by officers, said Capt. Gerald Vogel of Westlake police. She was then taken into custody on suspicion of operating a vehicle impaired.
