There’s been plenty of rain over the past several weeks (and sorry, more is expected today.) The city of Westlake has put out a mosquito activity and prevention tip sheet on how to reduce the number of bites this summer.

Too young? St. Ig’s Liam Eichenberg, 15, offered scholarship to OSU
Liam Eichenberg, who played freshman football for St. Ignatius last year, was “offered” a non-binding scholarship to OSU after a football camp recently. The Plain Dealer has the story.

The Diamond Project performs July 28.
On Sunday, July 28, enjoy The Diamond Project at an outdoor concert from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Westlake Recreation Center. The band will take you through five decades of Neil Diamond music. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Concerts are free. (Check out the video above...not bad!)
4. More summer fun for grades 6 - 12
Brains and eyeballs on your cupcakes
It’s gruesome, it’s gory it’s great fun. This Thursday, July 25 make Zombie Cupcakes from 2 p.m. ‐ 3 p.m. at the Porter Library. Make ordinary cupcakes scary with brains, eyeballs, and other creepy goodie decorations. All supplies provided. This is for students in grades 6‐12.
