An Allied Waste garbage truck drove into a pond at this morning after the driver suffered some sort of medical emergency.
The crash happened around 8:37 this morning, said Capt. Guy Turner of the . The pond is near the northern end of the complex.
The driver, a 60-year-old man, was conscious and breathing at the scene, Turner said. He was taken to . His condition is unknown at this time.

The garbage truck was still in the pond at 11 a.m. It will be towed out by Allied Waste. Turner said it didn't appear that any garbage or hazardous materials spilled or leaked into the pond.
