Previous elective offices: This is the first political office for which I am running. Serving as Westlake City Council Ward 2 representative is a logical progression of my community service.

Candidate Statement

I was born and raised in Westlake Ward 2 and have lived in Westlake for over 40 years. I am passionate about our community and my neighbors. As your voice on city council I will ensure that our tax dollars are used responsibly and address pressing Ward 2 issues. I will champion your input to envision a plan to keep our city moving forward for our community’s future stability and growth.

I have dedicated hundreds of hours to community service, and I want to give back to the community that has given me so much in a more significant capacity. I attend city council meetings regularly and have gone through the budget process.

I am well prepared to serve as your city council representative. In meeting Ward 2 neighbors I am well versed on concerns: water department issue, all-too- frequent electrical interruptions, safety and security posed by aging housing stock, need for better street lighting, attention to speed limits on major streets, and more involvement for our senior citizens.

Serving on city council is a logical progression in my passion to serve my community. I have been a PSR instructor at St. Bernadette’s, worked tirelessly for the Westlake City Schools serving on PTA and working on district levy and bond campaigns. I have organized food drives and adopt-a-family campaigns, coached baseball and basketball, led Relay for Life rallies and directed the Vietnam Veterans Greater Cleveland Chapter 15 Classic.
