Technology Students Are Off to the Races
Westlake High students have two cars in Gravity Racing Challenge

Several students have taken up car-building.
Well, maybe not on par with GM or Ford, but they did build two stock cars to compete in the Gravity Racing Challenge on Saturday, May 19, at Derby Downs in Akron.
Students in Adam Purdy and Scott Kutzโs technology education classes worked for several weeks planning, building, testing and refining their cars. In addition to building the cars, students also designed team t-shirts and banners.
