Westlake Demons football earned a decisive victory over Youngstown East on Sept. 13, due in part to a pair of touchdowns by senior running back Paul Angala.
Westlake bested the Panthers 34-12.
“We didn’t play well in the first half by any stretch,” Westlake head coach Mark Campo told the Morning Journal. “I’ve been waiting all year for this team to put together a complete football game. In the third quarter we started to show signs of that. This is something to build from but we’re still working.”
Quarterback Kent Axcell also scored a pair of touchdowns, both on one-yard runs.
