WHS Academic Challenge Team Advances To Regional Tournament

Westlake High School’s Varsity Academic Challenge team will be competing in the Ohio Academic Competition Regional Tournament on April 20 at Olmsted Falls High School.

The team finished undefeated (7-0) in their bracket at the Firestone High School Spring Invitational Tournament on March 23.

The team is now qualified for the Regional winners and runners-up will advance to the state championship on May 4 at Columbus State Community College.

Academic Challenge encourages higher order thinking, recognizes outstanding achievement and promotes academic excellence among participating high school students.
