• Clinton County extends gas aggregation program through 2028 (wnewsj.com) — Clinton County commissioners in Wilmington have locked in a fixed natural gas rate of $0.6999 per ccf through May 2028 for eligible residents served by CenterPoint Energy in Sabina. The extended aggregation deal, negotiated with state-level partners and Archer Energy, aims to provide price stability on winter heating bills starting in January 2026.
   

• Area driver dies after medical emergency, crash in Ohio, state troopers say (whio.com) — State troopers from the Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded Sunday evening to a fatal single-vehicle crash in Highland County. Investigators say 76-year-old New Vienna resident Andrew Pauckner suffered a medical issue on Panhandle Road, drove off the roadway, hit a ditch and then a tree, and died at the scene.
