• Governor DeWine Announces Science of Reading Audit Results for Ohio Colleges and Universities (ohio.gov) — State officials have confirmed that the College of Wooster’s educator preparation program is fully aligned with Ohio’s new Science of Reading requirements, placing it among 33 top-rated institutions statewide. Governor Mike DeWine announced that colleges not yet in full compliance have one year to meet the standards or risk losing approval for their reading and literacy programs, underscoring ongoing statewide changes that will affect how local children are taught to read.
