• New home and new opportunities for students of Heart to Heart (zanesvilletimesrecorder.com) — Families in and around Zanesville now have expanded options for students with special needs, as Heart to Heart school has moved into a larger building on Maysville Pike and doubled its capacity. Operated by Muskingum Valley ESC, the K–12 program now serves 28 students from Zanesville and nearby districts in a more spacious, sensory-friendly environment with dedicated support staff. 
• Handling Housing Hang-Ups - WHIZ - Fox 5 / Marquee Broadcasting (whiznews.com) — Zanesville officials are tackling the city’s ongoing housing shortage by updating zoning rules and partnering with the county land bank, Port Authority, and Chamber of Commerce to spur new development. Projects like Leasure Farms, Zane Commons, and Munson Crossing are already underway, with leaders predicting more homes, stronger neighborhoods, and better parks by 2030 and beyond.
• Local Basketball Scoreboard (Tuesday, December 16th) - WHIZ - Fox 5 / Marquee Broadcasting (whiznews.com) — Zanesville girls basketball rolled past Newark Catholic 79–43, highlighting a busy Tuesday night of local hoops. The scoreboard also features wins by Maysville, West Muskingum, Rosecrans, and other familiar Muskingum Valley teams, giving fans a quick snapshot of how area programs are stacking up early in the season.
