• ECU receives $30 million for STEM center and nursing school expansion (kxii.com) — East Central University in Ada is getting a $30 million boost to finish its new Dan Hays STEM Center and expand the School of Nursing, potentially tripling nursing enrollment. Funded by TSET and philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, the project will add high-tech labs and classrooms, strengthening local healthcare training and bringing more students and investment into Ada.
   

• Basketball Recap: Player #5's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ada over Kingston (maxpreps.com) — Ada High’s girls basketball team fell 38-22 to Kingston, despite a standout 14-point performance from Player #5 and solid support from Player #4. The loss drops Ada to 0-2, with a chance to rebound when they host Tecumseh at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
