• Eufaula launches search for City Planner to guide growth (eufaulaindianjournal.com) — Eufaula city leaders are creating the town’s first-ever City Planner position to guide growth, oversee zoning, and help craft a Comprehensive Plan through 2050. Funded within the existing budget, this role will manage land use, protect the city from legal missteps, and involve residents in decisions that shape neighborhoods, infrastructure, and Eufaula’s lakeside character.
   

• Eufaula steamrolls Beggs 82-51 in season opener (eufaulaindianjournal.com) — Eufaula basketball fans have plenty to cheer about after both the Ironheads and Lady Ironheads opened their seasons with dominant wins over Beggs, then followed up with convincing victories against Morris.
