• Piedmont man arrested in Hugo for alleged attempted rape (kxii.com) — An overnight break-in near Hugo High School led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Piedmont man, who is now jailed in Choctaw County on a first-degree burglary charge. Authorities say multiple agencies, including Hugo police and a Durant K-9 unit, quickly contained the area and located the suspect hiding under a house.
