• Charges of sexual assault dropped against ex-jailer (fourstateshomepage.com) — Residents in and around Jay should know that a sexual battery charge against a former Delaware County jailer has been dismissed because a judge ruled it was filed in the wrong jurisdiction tied to tribal status. The ex-jailer and a former interim assistant jail administrator both lost their jobs, and the administrator still faces separate felony and misdemeanor charges with a court date set for January 14.
