- A busy crook is accused of ransacking over 40 cars in one night at an Oklahoma City metro area apartment complex. The series of break-ins occurred at The Park on Westpointe apartments in Yukon; management has promised extra security in the late evening hours. Oklahoma City police report they have not yet identified a suspect. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden announced another addition to its animal family: a giraffe calf born to six-year-old Julu. Weather depending, guests may get a chance to see Julu and her yet-to-be-named female calf in the giraffe habitat. Giraffes are currently listed as vulnerable by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature. (Norman Transcript)
- Students at Yukon Middle School were rushed to the hospital after ingesting marijuana gummies while on campus. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- The Oklahoma City Fire Department’s hazmat team responded to a gas leak at Timberwood Assisted Living Center, evacuating 50 residents and 14 staff members; no injuries have been reported. (News on 6)
