  1. Former Oklahoma County Jail guard, Daniel Misquez, who was stabbed and held hostage during a jail riot, testified for the first time in court on Wednesday and said he didn’t know if he’d survive. It was also the first day in court for three of the five inmates accused in the riots, which meant Misquez had to meet face-to-face with inmates Darius Pleasant, Gregory Jordan, and Charles Johnson. On Mar. 27, 2021, officer Daniel Misquez was stabbed several times by inmates who streamed the whole thing live using the officer’s smartphone and social media account. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. Del City Police are searching for a missing child, 7-year-old Auston Zeigler, who was taken by his mother, 34-year-old Robin Zeigler. Officers were called around 8 a.m. on Thursday to a possible child abduction in the 4600 block of Tinker Diagonal, after the child was forced into a truck by his biological mother. The child was in the care of a family member, as Zeigler has a court order prohibiting any physical contact with her son. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  3. Pumpkinville is returning to the Myriad Botanical Gardens beginning Oct. 8-24. (KOKH FOX25)
  4. MMA fighter and UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is visiting Oklahoma City this week to train law officers on non-lethal ways to control suspects. (News On 6)
