Here are the top stories today in Oklahoma City:
- Western Heights' Board of Education finally struck a deal with the District's Teachers Union on Monday, offering pay raises and stipends to employees. This agreement comes after a two-year-long stand-off between the board and the union. Interim Superintendent Monty Guthrie negotiated the resolution with the district’s teacher union, the Western Heights Education Association, and the school board governing the southwest Oklahoma City district unanimously approved the new contract. (The Oklahoman)
- The woman who died after a vehicle crashed into the water near Northeast 23rd St. and Sooner Rd. in Oklahoma City has been identified. Susanna Scheiler, 77, was rescued in the water by dive team members and taken to the hospital in serious-to-critical condition, where she later died. The two other passengers got themselves out and were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (KOCO)

- Oklahoma City Police are looking to identify a man after he threatened neighbors with a shotgun and machete in southwest Oklahoma City. (news9)
