- The first Afghan refugee family arrived in Oklahoma on Wednesday. The community poured in support and is working to help the family settle in. There are about 1,800 people from Afghanistan that will be arriving in the state. (news9.com KWTV)
- The Oklahoma City Thunder will open a pop-up shop in Penn Square Mall on Saturday. They opened on Thursday for families and groups with Citizens Caring for Children to get free clothes. In addition, they donated $10,000 in store credit to stock the Resource Center and help foster families. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
- An Oklahoma City police officer will face trial for the fatal shooting of a man who would not drop a baseball bat as he walked up to the officer. (Journal Record)
- Shawn Mendes will perform at the Paycom Center on Sept. 27, 2022, with tickets going on sale Oct. 7, 2021. (KOKH FOX25)
