Here are the top stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. A prosecutor is asking the courts once again to remove two people from a death row case, alleging they are biased. District Attorney David Prater filed a motion on Monday to remove Kelly Doyle and Andrew Luck from the clemency hearing for Julius Jones, who is scheduled for execution Nov. 18. The court previously rejected Prater’s request to remove them from Jones’ commutation hearing on the same grounds. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
  2. Oklahoma City Police are looking for a man who has been accused of scamming an older woman while posing as a home health care worker. Investigators said the suspect posed as a health care worker in order to go inside of an 84-year-old woman's house and scammed her out of $7,600. Police have shared surveillance footage showing the suspect driving a gray Chevy Tahoe through a nearby bank and are asking for the public's help in identifying the man. (news9.com KWTV)
  3. An Oklahoma pharmacist, Dr. Bled Tanoe, has created the unique hashtag #PizzaIsNotWorking to spotlight poor working conditions for retail pharmacists and technicians. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
  4. The Care Center opened a new, 7,000 square foot facility at Northeast 13th and Lottie on Wednesday to help abused children. (news9.com KWTV)
  5. Two people escaped uninjured from an apartment garage fire in the 1100 block of Northwest 28th Street on Wednesday morning. (KOCO Oklahoma City)
