1. An Oklahoma City teenager is charged with accidentally shooting and killing his friend. It happened as he was allegedly showing the 15-year-old friend his gun. When police got to the scene at the Burntwood Mobile Home Park, the victim was already dead from a gunshot wound to the neck. The suspect has been charged with first-degree manslaughter, as well as knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
2. Residents are teaming up with EMBARK to address the rise in bicycle accidents in downtown Oklahoma City. After hearing about multiple incidents involving the OKC Streetcar tracks, local cyclist Perrin Duncan started a survey on social media to get more information about when and where the accidents occured. Duncan recently met with EMBARK officials, a traffic commissioner, Ride OKC, and Spokies OKC to discuss possible solutions. (KFOR Oklahoma City)
3. Following public resistance, the Bethany City Council unanimously voted to rescind an ordinance that banned roosters inside city limits. (news9.com KWTV)
