• Sand Springs data center project on hold amid environmental concerns (ktul.com) — A massive 827-acre data center proposed for Sand Springs is on hold while city officials seek more environmental details from developer White Rose Partners. Residents have raised concerns about water use, wildlife, and noise, and the Sand Springs City Council will revisit key planning commission requests at its Dec. 15 meeting at the municipal building.
   

• The drought is over (keystonegusher.com) — Sand Springs just ended a 59-year wait by winning the OSSAA Class 6A-II state football championship, bringing the gold ball home with a 32–27 win over Choctaw. Behind standout performances from Brock O’Dell and Easton Webb, the Sandites turned an 0–2 start into eleven straight wins and a title that has the whole town celebrating.
