- Congratulations to the University of Tulsa for being the recipient of the 2022 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from, Insight Into Diversity magazine. According to the University of Tulsa's Instagram, "[The magazine] is the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education." (The University of Tulsa via Instagram)
- The Route 66 Road Fest family-friendly event will take place now through June 25, at the SageNet Center at Expo Square and will feature Route 66 expert Michael Wallis. He will take the stage on Sunday, June 25, at 3 p.m. Route 66 is an important and pivotal part of American auto history and is often referred to as the "Mother Road." Come check out the event! - A mother is left in tears as she tries desperately to keep her ailing 12-year-old daughter healthy, in the wake of the storm leaving them without power and a thief stealing her daughter's live-sustaining medicines. The suspect reportedly stole a month's worth of medical supplies that cost thousands of dollars from the family's front porch. This, coupled with the devastation and power outage from the storm, has left Andrea McLauchlan praying for a miracle to help. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help out, click here to learn more.
