- In an effort to combat drug overdoses in the area, Family and Children’s Services will be offering free Narcan and fentanyl test strips at the following locations: Women in Recovery (distribution box outside building): 808 S. Peoria Ave. Crisis Care Center (distribution box outside building): 1055 S. Houston Irongate (inside building): 501 W. Archer F&CS Pharmacy (4th floor): 2325 S. Harvard Ave. The test kits can be accessed freely and anonymously. Two kits can be taken by each individual. Narcan is meant to be used "in conjunction with call for help. Experts suggest calling 911 before administering Narcan." (2 News Oklahoma KJRH Tulsa)
- Reportedly pulled over because the children in the back seat of her car were not wearing restraints (seatbelts), a Tulsa woman was charged and arrested when authorities found a large amount of fentanyl pills next to children in the vehicle. According to KOKI Fox 23 Tulsa, "When troopers approached the car, two children were jumping around in the back seat according to the affidavit. The K-9 alerted police to the back of the car, where a white box with fentanyl pills was found. In total, the K-9 officer says several thousand were found. Court documents say there were more than 340 grams found." (KOKI FOX 23 TULSA)
- Thirty unique organizations have been chosen by The Commemoration Fund's board members, some of Tulsa’s most influential leaders, as recipients of more than $1 million in funds, to champion in their individual efforts to overcome racial disparities in the community. The Black Wall Street Times reported that, "One of the winners this year included Urban Coders Guild, an organization that teaches computer science skills to students in Historic Greenwood District."
