TULSA, OK — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is in a few days, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

The Drillers will open the second half of their 2022 season with a six-game series against the Arkansas Travelers, including three games during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The final three games July 1-3 will feature large, post-game fireworks shows to celebrate Independence Day. Friday and Saturday games start 7:05 p.m. Sunday game starts 6:05 p.m. For more information, visit the Drillers' website.

What: Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2022

Where: River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave., Tulsa, OK, 74107

When: 6 p.m. July 4

An estimated 80,000 spectators will enjoy the view during the Folds of Honor FreedomFest 2022, from Dream Keepers (formerly Veterans) Park, River West Festival Park and along the Arkansas River, including the Gathering Place. Take in the full effect of the fireworks by tuning in to KRMG (740 AM and 102.3 FM) to listen to the accompanying music. Residents can also watch live coverage of the fireworks' grand finale at the beginning of the 10 p.m. newscast on KTUL (channel eight). The fest will feature other music, food and activities as well.
