After a challenging period following her military service, Porter had been working hard to rebuild her life, and the donation of a vehicle by Cars 4 Heroes marked the final step in her journey. The car was generously provided to Porter in Tulsa on Friday by the family of a Navy veteran who tragically passed away while on duty. (2 News Oklahoma KJRH Tulsa)

After officers spotted the stolen car at a gas station, the driver attempted to evade them but was eventually apprehended when the car's back tire malfunctioned.
