  2. The Philbrook Museum of Art recently received $10 million donation from the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Foundation. Reportedly the funds will be used to build an 8,000-square-foot pavilion and covered patio on the museum grounds in the southeast corner. The area will be used for special events and educational purposes. According to News On 6, "The [donation] covers almost the entire $10 million project, and fundraising for the other $2 million is underway. The project is set to kick off at the end of the year and is expected to be complete in the Spring of 2025." (News On 6)
  3. After driving the wrong way on 1-244 near Harvard a woman was taken to the hospital Friday morning. According to news9.com KWTV, "Troopers say they tried to stop the woman around 2:30 a.m. on Friday morning and finally had to ram into her vehicle to get her to stop. The vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier by an overpass. Police say the woman was not hurt and no one else was involved." (news9.com KWTV)
