Here are the top stories in Tulsa today:

  1. At around 10:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, there was a shooting near Pine and Toledo. Reportedly a homeowner was outside performing yard work when a stranger approached and a fight ensued. The homeowner reportedly shot the stranger who died at the scene according to police. The shooting is currently under investigation and the names of the individuals involved have not been released. (KOKI FOX 23 TULSA)
  2. If you missed Sunday's Tulsa Farmers’ Market not to worry. Every Second Sunday of the month this new monthly market, "Sunday Arts & Eats Market," which is being held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will showcase local artisans, small creative businesses, specialty prepared foods, flower growers, and, of course, farmers. All Markets are located at 1 S. Lewis Ave. (Tulsa Farmer's Market)
  3. You may have noticed that Whiteside Pool is closed. Over the weekend there was a drowning incident there that left one person dead. The incident is being investigated and reportedly the pool will be closed until Wednesday. Three men in their early twenties were at the pool very early on the morning of June 11, when the pool was closed. According to KTUL, "Police say it was likely they were all consuming some sort of intoxicant. Two of the men left for an unknown reason and for an unknown amount of time. When they returned, they found the third man unresponsive in the shallow end of the pool. CPR was administered and EMSA was called at around 5:39 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at 6:16 a.m." (KTUL)
