TSW Tulsa Selected to Join the NW Arkansas Design Excellence Program

TULSA -- TSW is proud to announce that TSW Tulsa has been selected by the Walton Family Foundation to join its Northwest Arkansas Design Excellence Program. This is a premier group of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and planning firms that promotes the highest level of sustainable design in the development of future public buildings and spaces in Benton and Washington Counties. Since its establishment in 2015, the Northwest Arkansas Design Excellence Program has grown to include nearly 80 firms, and recently expanded its roster to include community and land use master planning firms. www.waltonfamilyfoundation.org/design

A Design Excellence Selection Committee comprised of industry experts and Walton Family Foundation representatives reviews the qualifications of potential member companies and identifies those that qualify. Member companies are selected based on four key principles:

• A commitment to strengthening public life
• Elevating standards of sustainability and resilience
• Celebrating local cultures and places
• Building regional capacity

Through the Design Excellence Program, the Walton Family Foundation provides financial support for architecture, landscape architecture and community design projects and recommends a core group of program members with the desired expertise for each project. Final approval is made by each grantee.
