Governor's turkey hunt visit will change next year (alvareviewcourier.com) — Local leaders learned the lieutenant governor will leave the Alva turkey hunt dinner early in 2026 so he can attend a turkey hunt event and overnight stay in Woodward the same evening. The Woods County Industrial Development Authority also reviewed building tenants, grant efforts for nearby towns, and early ideas for helping senior citizens with their upcoming move.
