Dutch Bros will reportedly donate to OHSU and Albie Aware $10 from every $24, 20-ounce #BeAware Dutch Bros coffee mug sold in October.
GRANTS PASS, OR — In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Dutch Bros Coffee will reportedly donate $10 to Oregon Health & Science University's Knight Cancer Institute and Albie Aware every time a custom "Be Aware" Dutch Bros coffee mug is sold in October. The 20-ounce mugs cost $24 each.
Dutch Bros since 2013 has annually donated to breast cancer research organizations for Breast Cancer Awareness month. According to Dutch Bros' Bethany Gilbert, the company has collectively given more than $970,000 over the past five years to support breast cancer research.
“Dutch Bros wants everyone to live life to the fullest; that’s why it’s so important to us to support cancer research,” Dutch Bros CEO and co-founder Travis Boersma said in a statement. “The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and Albie Aware do a badass job of fighting this devastating disease, and we are honored to help them in this way.”

Dutch Bros' #BeAware campaign is just one of many the company promotes throughout each year.
Perhaps the most well-known "Drink One For Dane" campaign annually contributes to MDA research, in honor of Boersma's late brother and Dutch Bros co-founder Dane Boersma, who in 2004 was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease.
