Eagles Lodge Lottery Win In Hood River

Linda Breeze got lucky while taking her mom out to dinner on burger night at the Hood River Eagles Lodge, winning more than $32,000 on Keno.

HOOD RIVER, OR — Taking mom out to dinner was particularly rewarding for Hood River resident Linda Breeze recently.

Enjoying burger night with her mother at the Hood River Eagles Lodge, Breeze decided to play a few Keno games while she ate, Oregon Lottery officials said Monday. After picking the same random Keno numbers as always "because she feels they are lucky," Breeze had her food and was getting ready to eat when the drawing began.

"As I was putting toppings on my veggie burger, I looked up and saw all my numbers hit," Breeze told lottery officials. "I didn't even know what the jackpot was; all I knew is that I won. I was so excited I couldn’t eat my burger."

Along with matching all eight numbers for Special Keno, earning Breeze $25,000 alone, she also landed the 8-Spot Rolling Jackpot of $7,857 — bringing her total winnings to $32,857.

“My daughter, Sarah, and I will probably go shopping with the winnings,” she said. “We do our shopping in Hood River to keep it all local.”
