Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Highway 223 Sunday: Police

Nevada resident Shawn Berry, formerly of Tualatin, was killed Sunday afternoon when he struck a minivan with his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

DALLAS, OR — A Nevada man was killed Sunday when his motorcycle collided with a van on Highway 223 near Dallas, Oregon. No arrests have been made and no citations have been issued.

Shawn Berry, 43, formerly of Tualatin, was riding his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the eastbound lane of Highway 223 when he hit a 2017 Toyota Sienna minivan pulling out of private driveway around 4:30 p.m. May 13. Berry sustained fatal injuries and reportedly died at the scene.

The minivan driver, 67-year-old Dallas resident Kathleen Teal, was reportedly not injured.
