Oregonians Don't Pump Their Own Gas; So What?
Why does the nation feel inclined to weigh in on Oregon's gas pumping law? We have legal weed, too, y'know?

OREGON -- It's cold sometimes. Gas can be dangerous sometimes. Plus, it's always been the way of life in Oregon. That's the response from Oregonians on Twitter after the state made headlines worldwide for passing a law that would allow residents of small counties to pump their own gas.
Apparently, New Jersey is the only other state that prohibits people from pumping their own gas. The other states actually allow it.
But, in Oregon, drivers have always relied on gas stations to provide the service.

Here are just some of the tweets Oregonians wrote in response to the massive attention and hysteria surrounding self-pumping:
At the top of my list of why I like living in Oregon is that I don't have to pump my own gas. Make fun of us, I don't care.

Living in Oregon, it's fantastic to stay in my climate-conditioned car on my ass while someone fills my tank for me while also not paying pricing that's any real difference at the pump. Employing someone else is a good thing, too. So is not smelling like gas.
