17 People Arrested Over 2 Days In Washington County

BEAVERTON, OR — Washington County deputies arrested 17 people on outstanding warrants and for noncompliance with state-required sex offender registration between April 17 and 18, the agency announced Thursday.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office two-day enforcement mission was held in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service and conducted by the county's Criminal Apprehension Team.

"The highly trained deputies assigned to the Criminal Apprehension Team track and arrest offenders wanted for serious felony crimes," a spokesman for the sheriff's office said. "They also verify that registered sex offenders in the county remain in compliance with the laws and their registration requirements."

Arrested during the operation were the following people:

From Beaverton:

• Amie Davis, 36 — arrested on a failure to appear warrant (three counts)
• Daniel Thompson, 27 — arrested on a probation violation warrant
• Dwayne Snyder, 54 — arrested for out-of-compliance sex offender registration
• Heather Handy, 22 — arrested on a failure to appear warrant (four counts)
• Tanya Lane, 33 — arrested on a parole violation warrant
• Barry Westbrook, 56 — arrested for out-of-compliance sex offender registration

From Portland:

• Alex Nguyen, 26 — arrested on a parole violation warrant
• Michelle Piercy, 48 — arrested on a secret indictment warrant for aggravated theft (three counts) and criminal mistreatment (three counts)
• Jesse Banks, 30 — arrested on a Clackamas County arrest warrant

From Hillsboro:

• Brent La Fave, 54 — arrested on a failure to appear warrant
• Zachariah Truman, 28 — arrested for out-of-compliance sex offender registration and on a parole violation warrant

From Tigard:

• Kevin Williams, 51 — arrested on a failure to appear warrant
• Denny Ghim, 48 — arrested on a failure to appear warrant (two counts)

From Other Washington County Locations:

• Forest Grove: Dylan Farris, 20 — arrested on a secret indictment warrant for sexual abuse (10 counts)
• Aloha: Jazman Ellett, 28 — arrested on a felon in possession of a firearm warrant
• Garden Home: Justin Owens, 24 — arrested on a failure to appear warrant (two counts)
• Cornelius: Missy Hernandez-Martinez, 28 — arrested on a probation violation warrant
