• 'Arrest first, ask questions later': Judge orders on-the-spot release of Beaverton man that CPB detained without a warrant (kgw.com) — A Beaverton man was dramatically ordered freed in court after a federal judge ruled that Customs and Border Protection and ICE violated his due process rights by arresting him without a warrant at a Beaverton apartment complex. Agents were actually seeking someone else, relying on years-old information, then kept the wrong man in custody for nearly two weeks before his release.
