Arson Investigation Underway In Beaverton
Police and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue investigators are looking into a car fire that also damaged an apartment building Friday morning.

BEAVERTON, OR — Police and Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue personnel are investigating a suspected arson involving a car and residence in Beaverton.
Around 6 a.m. March 16, TVF&R firefighters dispatched to the fire requested the help of Beaverton police investigators after they deemed the car fire in the 5800-block of Southwest Erickson Avenue suspicious.
According to police, a 2006 Subaru Legacy may have been intentionally torched by an unidentified person who was seen in the area just before the fire started.

Along with totally destroying the Subaru, the fire also damaged the apartment building where it was parked.
No injuring were reported but the incident is being investigated as arson, police said.
