Beaverton City Council Adopts Strategic Goals, Sets Priorities

At its March 1 meeting, the city council set what it says are Beaverton's strategic goals and priorities.

BEAVERTON, OR — Nothing like being prepared. the Beaverton City Council took that adage to heart this week. They adopted their strategic goals and priorities.

The resolution will guide the city's workplace for the next two years.

"I'm grateful to council for coming together on goals and priorities that will help our community continue to recover," Mayor Lacey Beaty said.

"Our vision addresses every Beavertonian and I look forward to this year's budget process with these priorities top-of-mind."

The documents starts with a commitment saying, "The City of Beaverton is committed o meeting its goals by embracing its community vision; adnavng diversity, equity, and inclusion; proactively responding to climate change; and striving for fiscal sustainability."
