Beaverton Couple Found Dead In Car After Murder-Suicide: Police
Authorities believe Alejandro Gomez-Blanco shot his wife, Yolanda Constantino, before turning the gun on himself alongside Highway 26.

BANKS, OR —The Washington County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday revealed the identity of a Beaverton couple found shot to death inside a parked car alongside Highway 26 earlier in the morning. They also said that evidence points to the husband shooting his wife, before turning the gun on himself.
According to police, at around 3:30 a.m., the bodies of Yolanda Constantino, 44, and Alejandro Gomez-Blanco, 46, were discovered by authorities in a 2012 Black Nissan Altima next to Highway 26. The vehicle was located near NW Mountaindale Road and close to the town of Banks.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to the incident along with members of the Forensic Science Unit. After conducting an investigation, detectives said they believe Gomez-Blanco shot and killed Constantino, his wife, before shooting and killing himself.

Police said a handgun was recovered inside the car and that they notified family members about the deaths. They also said detectives are continuing to investigate the incident.
The westbound lanes of Highway 26 were closed for more than six hours after the discovery of the bodies, according to authorities.
